Hagios Prairie Classics
Since the rise of prairie literature in the 1970s, many seminal works of prairie writing have gone out of print or are inaccessible to a new generation of readers. In the fall of 2013, Hagios Press launched its Prairie Classics Series with a previously unpublished manuscript, A Country Boy: From Sussex to the Canadian West, by prairie author and artist, R.D. Symons. Going forward the Hagios Prairie Classics Series will feature present new editions of neglected or as yet unpublished master works of prairie literature in the genres of short fiction, poetry and nonfiction.
