The Invisible Library explores our passion for the book as an instinctive and cultural touchstone and leads into fascinating thematic and psychological territory. This finely-crafted collection captures the personal within the universal. The Invisible Library is a "word-ful" book, with joyous phrases and a surprising organization of stanzas and poems. It is a book of marvels that stirs the imagination and makes us more alive. The Invisible Library reframes the presence of the book within the collective imagination, and in the increasingly frenetic world where we live. The term ‘invisible books’ refer to book titles that only appear in other books, that is to say all manner of all books unwritten, unread, unpublished, and unfound. The Invisible Library explores our passion for the book as an instinctive and cultural touchstone and leads into fascinating thematic and psychological territory. This finely crafted collection captures the personal within the universal.

"The Invisible Library carries readers into new worlds, it inspires, teaches, haunts, and delights. Wilson’s deep knowledge of readers and reading and his astute understanding of our human bond with books combine with his keen observations and lyric sensibility to create a collection that is strong and tender, wise and eloquent."
