Hagios Authors at the Festival of Words

Saskatchean's Poet Laureate and Hagios Press author Robert Currie will be a featured reader at the Festival of Words, July 15 to 18th in Moose Jaw. Currie the author of Witness (2009) will read at the Festival on Friday, July 16th with Lorna Crozier (author of Bones in Their Wings, Hagios 2005) and on Saturday July 17th he will read with A.F. Moritz. Check the Festival schedule for times and locations.

Hagios Press is very pleased to be launching a new book at the 2010 Festival of Words. On Saturday, July 17th, 5 p.m. in the upper lobby of the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre Hagios Press will launch Vidh: A Book of Mourning by Swift Current writer and artist Phyllis Nakonechny. This moving and highly accomplished first book is "a clear-eyed look at what it means to lose a beloved husband". Everyone is welcome to attend this free event and a cash bar will be provided.
